Ernest Edward Albritton, 51, of Captain Cook died Nov. 10 at home. Born in Chico, Calif., he was a journeyman electrician, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and U.S. Army veteran. No services at this time. Scattering of ashes will be at a later date. Survived by his wife, Evone Albritton of Captain Cook; son, Michael Mendes of Germany; daughter, Jini (Randy) Rash of Chico, Calif.; two grandchildren; two brothers; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Debra Kay Carroll-Brimm, 60, of Keaau died Nov. 10 at home. Born in Tennessee, she was a retired ultrasound technologist for the Women’s Imaging Center and world traveler. June Junko Hiyoto, 77, of Hilo died Nov. 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Mountain View, she was a retired health aide at E.B. deSilva Elementary School and member of Hilo Meishoin Mission. Born in Pepeekeo, he was a service truck driver for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., Hilo Medical Center security guard, U.S. Army veteran and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Joseph Catholic churches. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Inurnment at noon Monday, Nov. 24, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Columbaria.
